Intelligent light

With innovative products and newly designed manufacturing processes, BILTON has established itself on the market as a specialist of flexible linear LED lighting and intelligent light management systems. In recent years,, several innovations and patents have emerged, with which BILTON is increasingly showing its strength and innovative power.

BILTON Smart Core Enhance your LED Strip

With its patented Smart Core, BILTON is developing the intelligent LED light of the future. This not only makes the LED light Bluetooth-capable, but also eliminates the need for external control - in addition to avoiding dark spots. With BILTON X-LINE SMART CORE, BILTON is launching a series of ultra-modern light- ing components that make our configured luminaires of the BILTON X-LINE series al- most limitlessly smart. The BILTON X-LINE Smart Core luminaire with Bluetooth function can be installed in any project and end product.

Funktionen des BILTON Smart Core

Compatibility

Thanks to the resulting final feed, technical dark-zones are a thing of the past. As a result of the integrated spring force clamp, the connector cable can be easily connected to the board without any necessary soldering. Fast, easy and safe.

Bluethooth

Thanks to the integrated radio module and the standardized BLUETOOTH protocol, the BILTON X-LINE series is equipped with the ability to be controlled effortlessly and independently.

Climate sensor

Due to the integrated electronics, the LED light will be limitless. For example, when the air climate changes (e.g. gas, or lack of oxygen), a visual warning about the lighting is issued

Motion Sensor

LED lighting is even more efficient when the lamp thinks for itself. So the motion sensor on the light enables the light to turn on automatically in the presence of movement.

CONTACTLESS ENERGY SUPPLY BILTON AIR TOUCH

The conventional control of linear LED lightin strips by means of constant voltage  entails some disadvantages in certain applications. BILTON has tackeld ths problem with innovative solutions. BILTON has tapped into new applications in the market with the use of contactless energy transfer:

For this, BILTON has equipped the BILTON AIR with the world's first inductive energy transfer:

  • No soldering or plugging more necessary
  • Exact positioning of the energy transfer by integrated magnetics
  • Perfect for outdoor and exceptional applications

LED module with high frequency design Contactless control of the bands via inductive supply

The conventional control of linear LED lightin strips by means of constant voltage  entails some disadvantages in certain applications. BILTON has tackeld ths problem with innovative solutions. BILTON has tapped into new applications in the market with the use of contactless energy transfer:

  • No perceivable LED flickering thanks to the integrated constant current design
  • Simpler circuit configuration enables long strip lengths, also for multiple groups of LEDs
  • Unrivalled flexibility in LED strip design
  • New types of opportunities for light management based on high-frequency supplies

The high-frequency power supply has the advantage that the ohmic loss- es no longer have a perceivable influence on the operation of the LED strip segment. It is not so much the cross section of the copper available for the power feed that is important now, but rather the surface available. As a result of the contactless coupling of the LEDs, the layout required can be simply retained and the use of the available surface maximised.

This results in the following advantages:

The coupling of the individual LEDs is realised through a simple layout by means of a double-sided, copper-coated, flexible circuit board.

Each individual LED with its individual circuitry forms an independent lighting element so that the LED strip can be separated at any arbitrary point.

The existing circuitry comprising LEDs and individually arranged capacitors can be tailored so that the selective operation of each individual LED is possible.

In particular, each LED will also be supplied with DC, allowing the benefits of the constant current design to be utilised to full effect.
